To talk about anime, learn to draw characters, watch anime on the projection screen and everything in between with teen librarian Melissa, go to Hank’s Room at the Kennebunk Free Library, 112 Main St., from 3:30-4:30 p.m. It is open to teens in grades six through 12. An employee luncheon and recognition ceremony will be held at Wells Town Hall, which will be closed from noon to 12:30 p.m.

Paint Your Own Pottery will be held from 6-8 p.m. at River Tree Arts, 35 Western Ave., Kennebunk. Choose between mugs, bowls, cups and plates to paint and enjoy a social and creative night out with friends and family. The celebration of the reopening of the University......................................................................... of New England Portland............................................... Campus’ historic Alumni Hall building will take place 182 years to the day after it first opened in 1834. The structure, which was the sole building on campus when UNE’s predecessor Westbrook Seminary was established, was renovated several times over the years before its most recent renovation, which began about 10 months ago.
