“Who Killed Rob Cockyn?”, an audience participation Murder Mystery Dinner, will be presented by Duffy’s Bar and Grill and the Community Pantry Players. The show is from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tickets, which must be pre-ordered, cost $25 each. Proceeds benefit the Old Orchard Beach Community Food Pantry and Resource Center.

Kennebunk River Club’s 61st Annual Art Show will take place from noon to 5 p.m. The artwork will be on display in the club’s boathouse and casino. The art show will feature watercolors, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, mixed media, graphics and sculpture, all for sale. Complimentary light refreshments will be served in the boathouse. Parking is free. Admission is $5, with free admission for children under 10. The River Club is located at 115-116 Ocean Ave., Kennebunkport.

A pancake breakfast will take place at the Second Congregational Church at 9 a.m. at 19 Crescent St., Biddeford. It will be followed by a 10 a.m. worship and an 11 a.m. fellowship. For more information, call 284-7898.

Monday, August 15

All interested Republicans are invited to attend an informational meeting on the Citizen Initiative Questions that will be voted on in November. Hosted by the Alfred Republican Committee, the meeting will be 7–9 p.m. at Alfred Town Hall, 16 Saco Road. There will be a discussion session at the end of the presentations. A musical performance will take place at First Congregational Church of Kennebunkport, 141 North St., at 7 p.m. Martha Woodward, flute, of New London, New Hampshire, and Joyce Painter Rice, organ, of Merrimac, Massachusetts, will perform. Admission is free. Donations may be made to the Hook Organ Restoration Fund.
