Comprised of flutist Nicole Rabata, fiddler Ellery Klein and guitarist Bethany Waickman, Fódhla (Foh-la) previously performed to an enthusiastic audience in the West Kennebunk series in March 2015. The concert takes place at 3 p.m. Sept. 18 at the West Kennebunk United Methodist Church. Fódhla have been well received at festivals such as Portland’s Saltwater Festival, the Maine Celtic Celebration and the Boston Celtic Music Festival. Their debut recording, “Notes from Millpond,” was released in December 2015 to a sold-out show at Acoustic Artisans in Portland. The West Kennebunk United Methodist Church is located at 160 Alfred Road in the village of West Kennebunk. Admission to the concert is by donation at the door. Suggested levels are $15 for adults, $10 for youth and seniors (under 18 or over 65), with a $35 maximum for parents with children. For more information, contact Paul Wells at 985-2831.
