Deputies seek info about Hollis sexual assault suspect

ALFRED — York County Sheriff William King said he is looking for the public to step forward if they have been victimized or have any information about by a Hollis suspect following his arrest last week on sexual assault charges.

Aaron Hebert, 22, was arrested and charged with gross sexual assault on Nov. 3, following an investigation by detectives regarding a complaint filed by a woman who said she had been sexually assaulted by Hebert at a party in Limington last month.

The sheriff said she may not be the only victim.

“Detectives also discovered that two other women may have been victimized by Hebert,” said King in a statement. “If anybody has any information about Hebert or has been victimized by him, they are urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 324-1113.”

Hebert posted $500 bail and was released from jail.

King said that Hebert is scheduled to make a first appearance at York County Superior Court in Alfred on Nov. 13.
